Frequently asked
Is InfoScope free to read?
Yes. All fifty briefs, the glossary, the archives, and the topic libraries are free — no paywall, no account, no metered limit.
How often do you publish?
Briefs land on the desk every weekday. Each one is verified against primary sources — papers, datasheets, patents, or the engineers who built the system — before it ships.
Do you accept sponsorships or paid placements?
No. There is no sponsored content, no affiliate revenue, and no vendor-paid coverage. When we publish a comparison, we disclose the criteria before the verdict so you can audit the reasoning.
How technical are the briefs?
They assume curiosity, not credentials. Guides start from first principles at beginner level, while deep dives assume you already know the surrounding field and want the mechanism-level detail.
Are the photos of the actual products?
No. Editorial imagery illustrates the technology field rather than a specific product, and is never used to imply an endorsement or a review of the pictured device.
How do I report an error?
Write to corrections@infoscope.work with the article and the claim in question. Verified corrections are applied in place with a dated note, and we thank the reader who found it.
